*The Archival Gathering hosts an expert in photo archiving*

Yesterday evening, Thursday, the Archival Gathering/Palestine hosted the expert in photo archiving, Mr. Ahmed Obeid from the Arab Republic of Egypt, in a special meeting as part of the experience exchange program entitled: "Photo Archive and its Role in Preserving Memory".
During the meeting, Mr. Obeid reviewed in a systematic and practical manner the most prominent standards and techniques used in archiving images and their role in preserving community and national memory, providing practical examples and applicable recommendations.
The meeting witnessed a wide interaction and valuable participation from members and colleagues from several countries, which opened new horizons for the gathering and gained new members with experience and achievement in this field.
