Believing in us the necessity of networking relations with institutions, associations and private organizations, the honorary president and representative of the Archive Association in Lebanon Abdel Marouf, today Tuesday, February 17, 2026, visited the headquarters of the official National Archives Foundation in Beirut, and met with Mr. Ibrahim Assi, the head of the documentation department of the institution.
The meeting, which lasted an hour and a half, networked the relationship between the Archive Association and the Lebanese Preserves Foundation, was held periodic meetings and it was agreed on:
= The Foundation of Preserves should work on training members and those who want the archival collection on how to preserve, maintain and restore documents, photographs.
= The Foundation is working to provide the archival collection with photos and copies of all Palestinian documents that the Foundation owns.
= Preparing a team from the Preservation Foundation to visit Palestinian families inside and outside the camps in Lebanon and to give guidelines for their preservation, preservation and restoration
Joint cooperation in programs that serve both parties.
= Preparation of the Preservation Foundation to invite the assembly to hold a joint general conference in Beirut and directing the invitation to the administration of the assembly to participate in its conferences that are held in the Lebanese capital.
Implementing this agreement, Mr. Assi requested an official letter and a memorandum with the text of the agreement to be signed and authenticated.
